Here are testimonials collected from satisfied customers in Stockport, Manchester, Cheshire and beyond who have used our professional tree surgeon and tree care services over many years. If you're a new customer then we'd welcome the chance to earn your testimonial too!
A natural looking Crown Reduction is one of the most challenging tasks for a tree surgeon, as without proper training and experience this can turn into an unsightly disaster. This client has concerns about exactly that problem but by using us as his chosen tree surgeon in Marple he made the right choice, as you can see from this glowing testimonial.
Just a note to say thank you to you and your team for reshaping the crown of the large beech tree at the end of our garden. The tree is of some considerable size and had grown somewhat lop-sided. I was a little apprehensive about reshaping the tree as I have seen the dreadful results of so-called tree crown reduction. However, I must say that Myers Tree Care have reduced the size of the crown of the tree and given it a good pleasing and natural shape. I must also congratulate you and your team for not damaging any of our garden in the process of the work and taking away all the branches that were removed, leaving the garden clean and tidy.
Yours sincerely, Mike Heap

During our work as a tree surgeon in Marple Bridge we were called upon to remove a diseased Blue Atlas Cedar for a repeat customer. The Blue Altas is an attractive large evergreen conifer with spreading branches bearing silvery blue-green needles. It's sad when disease forces the removal of a tree like this but when the time comes we can deal with it safely and efficiently for you.
Dear David,We were very impressed by the team who carried out the work on our Atlas Blue Cedar. Whilst I didn't stand and watch the whole process, they seemed to carry out the work in a very professional and efficient manner. They were very pleasant and polite young men and left everything very tidy.
Kind regard, Janet Briggs

During our work as a tree surgeon in Eccles for a Northwest Utility Company we were asked to reduce 56 Poplars to previous points as branches had started to fail. Thanks to great team work and the new MEWP (Cherry Picker) that we have recently purchased to satisfy work at height regulations and well as improve efficiency etc., we undertook this work with precision and ahead of schedule.
A massive investment but worth every penny!!!
Just a quick note to say that as far as EAC are concerned the contractor did a really good job with the trees on and around the EAC grounds. The guys were quick, professional and approachable.
We were a little concerned about how they were going to deal with the trees behind the clubhouse, but they fixed up a clever wire system to lower the heavy cut branches to the ground.
A fine job! A big thanks from me, the committee and all the members at EAC.

This job as a tree surgeon in Greater Manchester entailed the managing of overgrown hedges (1 mile long) and shrub beds for a Northwest Utility Company that had been neglected by previous maintenance teams. The site was very busy 5 days a week and we had to complete some of the intricate work at the weekend and within operating hours that were reduced due to neighbours of the site.
All work was completed swiftly and ahead of the schedule.
I am a firm believer in giving credit where it is due, Myers have been introduced to site to take up work that was previously done by another company. They have always completed work to a very high standard and their Health and Safety to site issues has always been exceptional, so I was fearful of a new company (MYERS) taking up work that had previously been done without fault by another contractor. That said, MYERS work has been equally excellent and they have absorbed our high health and safety standards superbly.
Therefore full credit to them for taking up the task and performing so well. This news can only be a good thing for the company as a whole as it now has two strings to its bow.

This job as a tree surgeon in Marple Bridge involved the removal of several over-mature conifers and the grinding out of their roots. The customer was concerned that it would be difficult to obtain permission because there was a TPO (Tree Preservation Order) on them. However, we handled the paperwork and with a concise case presented to Stockport Council we were able to gain permission for their removal on behalf of the client. This was also a great opportunity to use our new MEWP (Cherry Picker) in a confined space and it worked wonders!
All positive feedback; very happy with the work done, the handling of the council application and successfully getting the TPO tree removal approved and I was surprised how much of the tree roots you managed to grind out for us.
Thanks very much! Stuart.

While working as a tree surgeon in Marple we deal with a huge variety of large and small tree surgery jobs. Here are testimonals from a couple of satisfied of customers in Marple for two relatively small and straightforward jobs recently undertaken. Whatever size of tree needs felling or pruning in Marple or beyond, our aim is always the same: complete customer satisfaction is what we strive for every time!
I just wanted to thank you for a job extremely well done. You exceeded our expectations. As well as felling the trees exactly as we requested, you ensured the site was left in good order, with the logs cut as requested, the waste removed and the area left looking spick and span!
Well done! With grateful thanks, Keith.

The work done by the company of Myers was done to a high standard. Everything in the garden was clean and tidy you would not have known they had removed a tree except where the gap is. Thank you for a very good job.

This job as a tree surgeon in Strines had challenging access to the site with vehicle height, weight and width restrictions and the trees were in confined spaces and exceeded 80ft in height.
The lawn area was boarded out to protect it and allow access with the skid-steer loader. That enabled us to complete log removal with the minimum amount of manual handling, which in turn reduced the amount of cutting, sawdust, fuel consumption and also noise. This considered approach turned the job around in half the time it would have taken without the right plant and equipment.
Can I just thank you so much for an inch perfect job well done. The two clumps of mature Leylandii were difficult enough being so close to the house and valuable shrubs but you really excelled with the 5 massive poplars which were dropped so well nobody would know you’d been!Jane and I were also so pleased you cleared up so well. Did you vacuum the drive?
